waiting for more flowers

The Pediocactus simpsonii var minor have stopped blooming and hopefully they will soon have seed pods. Now, I'm waiting for some of the Echinocereus plants to bloom and they are showing lots of buds. I wish I could have cactus flowers all year, but at least in the spring and summer there is usually some variety of cacti making flowers.

I am also doing a cactus blog. I have so many cacti now that I wanted to help myself keep up with their needs and activities.

I'm sure you know a lot more than me about names, care, etc. and I would love to see pictures included in your blog to help me learn more.

With the help of your website, I am going to try growing a few ferocactus from seeds. I have several varieties making flowers this season, too. In fact, my cleistocactus strausii is going crazy this year after being in the ground only 3 years.
