Crassula Click on a thumbnail on the right to view the individual species and for purchasing information.
The native habitats for Crassula are South Africa, and Madagascar where they may grow anywhere from a few inches to fifteen feet high depending on the species. Many of these plants are commonly found in propagation and some make reliable house plants even for beginners. Their flowers are usually small and colors vary in the white, yellow and pinks, but they are grown more as foliage plants and less for and interest in their flowers. Most of them are easy to grow in any house plant soil and with regular watering and plenty of light they make dependable house plants. They can easily be shared with friends by rooting stem cuttings and leaves to get new plants.
