frailea

(propagated seeds)

Frailea Photos:

This is a generic which is often hard to find as plants to grow or information about them in habitat. They are small globular cacti from South America that grow in Bolivia, Columbia, Brazil, Paraguay and Uruguay. Their flower color ranges in the yellow colors, and often the flowers do not fully open. This group of plants are self fertile, so a single plant can produce seeds.
